I received a reminder today to stop what I was doing and share some LOVE! I just recently did a vendor event, I don't do much vendor events anymore it just not cost effective for me. However, I used this vendor event to network with other artists. I met this guy that sells beautiful bracelets local to where I live. And I told him that on my website I have a page called "Links" great friends with great passions and talents. I told him I would add him to that page that was on Saturday 2 weeks ago. It has been on my list of things to do that I haven't gotten to yet, and then today I read a Facebook post from one of my face painting groups. Heather the author of the post was talking about how Facebook has been very heavy lately. The constant access to sad news, stressful current events, and personal opinions are enough to make many of us want to close our accounts. But it doesn't have to be that way. While it feels like social media is dividing us, Heather said she would rather use it to bring us together and help each other grow. Her post inspired me to stop what I was doing and start my blog post! Thanks, Heather Green from Silly Farm Supplies for the reminder to share love xoxo.

Its true one person can't change the world, but one person can make a difference. And everyone should at least try. Go out and make some ripples.

I like to bring all necessary supplies and equipment. For a few reasons...

In my early days, I would just setup anywhere that was convenient for my clients. However, my clients were not aware of how much space my setups would take. One time I was asked if I could share the desert table? Sure, I love deserts, but by the end of the event I had cookie crumbs and brownie bites all in my face paint. NOT GOOD.

Also, when clients would share photos of my body art, I felt that my body art station looked very messy and unorganized. I hated to share those photos on social media because it represents my company and the services I provide. (See the small table in the background?)

Another reason is that I do not want, you the client, to worry about the correct table size and how many chairs I will need for your event. You will be able to relax and enjoy your special event stress free.

I have several different body art setup/stations available for the different body art services I provide. I take GREAT PRIDE in having a CLEAN, ORGANIZED setup/station.

I’m always working to improve my Face and Body painting setups and services and I have bought a bunch of new painting supplies!

A Pregnant belly is a blank canvas just waiting to be painted with amazing, hilarious, or adorable designs your imagination is the limit. We can match your nursery theme, your favorite flower or a seasonal motif to commemorate your due date!

For many women, pregnancy is a spiritual and seemingly magical time. Celebrate this phase in your life with an image that pays tribute to motherhood. Pregnant Belly Art for Baby Showers:

My most resent client Yinell wanted me to paint her pregnant belly for her baby shower. The baby shower theme was “Under the Sea” I am very happy with the design we came up with. A tranquil “Under the Sea Design” with seahorses, sea turtles, tropical fish, star fish, octopus, shells a complete coral reef. To achieve this design I used an airbrush and aquatic stencils we also added some glitter bling stickers. Getting your belly painted and photographed is a unique and fun way to celebrate pregnancy. When scheduling a Henna Session, keep in mind the following factors:

Is the Henna for a special event? If so the best time to get the Henna done is 2 days before the event as it takes 2 days for the Henna to develop to its prime color.
After the henna is applied, you will want the paste to remain undisturbed for minimum of 4 hours, 8 hour optimum for the best stains. Plan your activities accordingly.
It is a good idea to get any needed bathing, soaking, swimming or shaving down before your session. Same goes for manicures and pedicures.

I will be doing Henna Body Art this Saturday May 7 2016 for a "Special Mother’s Day" “Yoga Retreat Center” Due to weather, condition Yoga in the Garden will be held inside at the Christ Presbyterian Church - 400 Swedesboro Rd, Gibbstown NJ 08027. @ 9:15am. I have personally decorated the back of my business cards with one word sayings to keep us mindful in our life journey. I have also scented the cards with eucalyptus oil. Henna is a plant-based natural and organic dye that safely leaves a temporary tattoo on the skin for 10-14 days. Henna Tattoo aka Mehndi, is a kind of temporary tattoo which is becoming very popular. Henna refers to the henna tree (Lawsonia inermis) or the dye prepared from the plant, which can then be applied to the skin in dazzlingly intricate patterns. Once the paste is removed, the reddish-orange stain begins to oxidize and darken over the next few days. Although not permanent, the body art can last up to one or two weeks on the surface of the skin, making it a temporary and pain-free alternative to traditional tattooing.
